Here are a few Washington events of note for Wednesday, April 2.

President Bush is in Romania today in the latest stop of his European trip.

Citizens Against Government Waste is releasing its 2008 Congressional Pig Book, an annual report on pork-barrel spending in the federal budget.

The Joint Economic Committee is holding a hearing on the economic outlook with Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke.
