Good morning.

Here are a few Washington events of note for Tuesday, April 15, the federal tax filing deadline.

Pope Benedict XVI arrives in Washington at the start of his six-day visit to the capital and New York, the first trip of his papacy to the U.S.

The Senate water quality subcommittee is holding a hearing on pharmaceuticals in the domestic water supplies.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is holding a hearing on possible problems with the 2010 Census.
