President Alvaro Colom of Guatemala is speaking on immigration and trade at George Washington University.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is delivering the keynote address at the American Jewish Committee's annual meeting.
The National Association of Manufacturers is releasing the 2008 Competitiveness Redbook, an analysis of state rankings according to 51 indicators, with leaders of 27 state business groups.
