Hillary Clinton, attempting to make the case that she is the candidate to challenge John McCain in November, has rolled out a relatively low-budget TV ad for the South Dakota primary promising that she can get the nation's fiscal house in order.
""We are 8 trillion dollars in debt,'' Clinton tells an audience in the ad.
"We borrow money from the Chinese to buy oil from the Saudis.''
""I will get us back to fiscal responsibility.''
Clinton, of course, has borrowed millions from herself to continue waging a campaign which, by all outward appearances, has little chance of clinching her party's nomination.
But how much can air time cost in South Dakota?.

HA! She can't even be responsible for her own Fiscalality how's she gonna take on government? What a joke.

Laughable, perhaps even pathetic. She can't even manage her own campaign finances !

I love the noble words. Thanks to the Clintons, China is now in a position to lend us money.

Clinton is fooling people with that ONLY I can win stuff. Its all smoke and mirrors. Black man vs. White Woman in America = white woman. But even white woman loses that. DNC - how in the world is white woman supposed to beat white man? Answer - its impossible. She claims Obama is not going to be able to get the white vote - but its really her. The only chance she had - was that McCane is damaged by Bush. But now that she has damaged herself beyond repair, she couldn't even beat the old man. I hope the DNC is smart enough to do the math. Given the choice of white man vs. white woman - america is going to vote white man. UNLESS that woman has character beyond reproach - and we all know that answer.
BARACK has given the DNC a different, refeshing and more palletable path to the Presidency. Its all new and based on different voters. He actually INSPIRED and went after NEW voters - that McCain cant touch! They are Americans INSPIRED by hope and they stretch across the entire spectrum of Americans. And they are REAL (check the fundraising). And they are even MORE ready to defeat McCANE this fall. Those old tactics that Clinton used are going to be even worse for him. Barack is better in almost EVERY way! We just need someone to tell Mrs. Clinton to stop it. We are all tired of her. We want to move FORWARD. Who is she that folks cannot REASON with her??? Only one way to reason with an unreasonable person.

If the Superdelegates don't react to this BS soon and cast their votes for Obama, this party is going down in flames. She can't even manage her own campaign funds how the heck is she going to manage the nation's? If Bill kept his you know what you know where G. Bush would never have been president. Thanks for nothing Clintons!

Hillary would do well to brush up on her 'simple' math. You know - adding and subtracting. It will give her something to do after next week's results. Bless her ME me ME me MINE heart!

She's absolutely right. So, what exactly didn't you like about the Clinton's in the '90's, the peace part or the prosperity part? Personal feelings aside. Pardon me for not being on the Obama bandwagon and pretending that the millions of voters turning out for her during these primaries aren't relevant. Perhaps during the general election this will become clearer to those who would like to dismiss her as some Huckabee-type garnering a sliver of the electoral pie.

Yes you're right Julie. What we need to do is ignore the even larger numbers of voters who have turned out for Obama. Let's pretend they don't exist. Especially all those who showed up in Iowa, Nevada, Maine, and Washington, the voters that must be ignored to continue the fiction that Hillary has the greater popular vote.
Second, it's the new first!

Clinton is beyond vile. Please contact Howard Dean (deanh@dnc.org) and Nancy Pelosi (http://speaker.house.gov/) to let them know how you feel. You can also go to this website and lobby the Uncommitted Superdelegates in each state (https://www.lobbydelegates.com/) Please take action.

I'm not suggesting anyone ignore the numbers, Iowa, Nevada, Maine and Washington included. My word was "dismiss". Have a nice day.

How a person conducts themself in a campaign and how they manage the financing of a campaign might be a good indicator of how they will run our country. Just a thought.

I hardly think any of the candidates sit down with their checkbooks and spend their own money. They have their "people" do that for them...during such campaigns everyone goes to the trough to drink.
I honestly do not see how some of you live with yourselves with some of the comments you make -- BOTH CAMPS. You really should grow up!

She's smart enough to know she can't overtly say stop the war and win the next few states.
But that's the subtle message--people who need to get it do.
She's the one who campaign us into the white house.
