Another day, another former DNC chairman publicly endorses Barack Obama.
Today it's former Democratic National Committee Chairman Paul G. Kirk, who also is a Masschusetts superdelegate.
This comes a day after Joe Andrew, the DNC chair under Bill Clinton, announced that he would support Obama over Hillary Clinton for the party's presidential nomination.
"Sen. Obama is the one candidate best able to quickly restore America's respect and reputation globally," says Kirk. He is "the one candidate best able to set the tone at the top for the unity and reconciliation needed in this country, to bring us together, to define our common goals and to provide the inspiration to move us forward."
So far, six of the 11 living former DNC chairs have jumped on board with Obama, while four support Clinton.

top ten reasons hillary minions are wrong about "electability" being the only issue to consider
10) a review of newpaper documents and congressional archives has revealed there actually are other issues (see the civil rights movement and the loss of US manufacturing jobs)
9) courageous candidates are often great leaders even tough that does not always poll well (see Lincoln)
8) bill clinton was not considered electable by critics who had polling data to back up their case - but the truth turned out to be quite the opposite
7) so called electable candidates are not always good presidents (see bill clinton and w bush)
6) so called electable candidates can still lose (see Dewey)
5) panderers and influence peddlers ruin our democratic process even though the pandering and influence peddling makes candidates more electable (see congress)
4) pork barrel spending may improve electability but these spenders (like hillary) waste the money of the middle class and run up national debt even worse than it already is (note to the uninformed; there was only one budget surplus under bill clinton out of eight and that one did not decrease the national debt - FACT the national debt actually increased under bill clinton)
3) a historical review of the ethical principles of all civilized nations reveals that character actually does matter - see Nixon
2) HITLER was electable
1) if electability were the only issue, then all a candidate would have to do is undermine their opponent's electability (with the race card etc.) and then lie about your own (oh wait, that is already happening)
so to highlight;
these few words below ALL totally refute the concept that one should consider "electability" when choosing a nominee/candidate;
dewey v truman/lincoln v. douglas/kennedy v. nixon/ b. clinton v. GHW bush/ HITLER v. the guy he beat in a popular election
so shut up about "electability" that is for dweebs like george stephanopolous to overanalyze while others pay attention to real issues like potential effectiveness as a president rather than as a candidate

So happy to see Hillary moving UP in the polls. I voted for her in my state primary and contributed to her campaign.
Hillary is the most qualified and electable candidate for President and I will support her all the way to the White House (baggage and all).
I hope the remaining superdelegates endorse her and a solution to Florida and Michigan is reached, so she can focus on the general election.
BTW: Obama will make a great Vice-President and can run again in 2016, when he has more experience.
HILLARY, OUR NEXT PRESIDENT !!!

How many people who know Hillary very well have switched their allegiances to Obama? Lots.
How many people who know Obama very well have switched their allegiances to Hillary? None.
What does that tell you?

Chad--one problem with your logic on this---all those present votes or absences.
