Good morning.
Here are a few Washington events of note for Friday, May 23.
President Bush is speaking on World Trade Week.
Former presidential candidate and World War II veteran Bob Dole is speaking at a National Press Club luncheon on changes being made to improve care for today's wounded veterans.
Rolling Thunder kicks off the Memorial Day weekend of events. For decades, members of the nonprofit biker group from across the country have ridden their motorcycles to demonstrate their support for soldiers held captive or missing in action.

Comments
Why does the media insist on covering 'rolling thunder'--it's a far far far right wing revisionist about Vietnam biker thug group.
The bikers STILL and rightfully get watched by drug enforcement and other law enforcement groups.
These are NOT nice people.

You folks at the Swamp know that American propagandists are telling us that Iraqi forces have taken control of Sadr City, right? And that attacks in Mosul are down 85 percent? And that violence in Iraq is at its lowest level since 2004? When will Cordesman tell us this is all a mirage?
