All this blanketed sniper fire press attack on Sen. Obama’s membership in his former pastor’s church is mostly an undue and over the top burden of false guilt by association media frenzy, although Rev. Wright was a willing participant the second time around.

A fair and balanced look into this brouhaha reveals three very glaring facts. Firstly, the style of sermons Rev. Wright is accused of preaching is simple black empowerment through the Gospel of Jesus Christ (from the same Christian Bible used to support slavery) coupled in the total support of a stronger and morally upright national union, despite our history that mostly seared a denigrated black experience in America.

Secondly, Rev. Wright has tirelessly tended to the poor and forgotten masses on the South Side of Chicago and thousands joined and/or supported his church, ultimately his advocacy on their behalf enabled him to parlayed political capital.

Thirdly, most young activist and/or community organizers who would desire to attain political office in that tough political environment of Chicago would no doubt need a very influential sponsor. Thus the Obama and Rev. Wright relationship benefited Barack Obama spiritually and politically.

Sensing a higher calling to serve our nation in these highly troubling times, Sen. Obama on the advice of very powerful Democratic leaders embarked on this historical quest for the Presidency of the United States of America.

Obama’s break with his pastor was something he knew that he may have to do but nonetheless is was not something he really wanted to do,

he figured that the juvenile scare tactic nature of our national politics would force him to distance himself but not totally break off that relationship.

Sen. Obama was painfully and publicly forced to break from Rev. Wright due to Rev. Wright’s urge to publicly defend himself, his words and his black church.

Rev. Wright very purposefully wanted to demonstrate to the world that he could make and break Obama’s political aspirations regardless of all the patriotic sense of duty Obama may fervently endear to unite us all as Americans first and foremost.

In light of all the freedom of speech protected criticism of U.S policies and his conspiracy theories, Rev. Wright bombastically verbalized his two most viciously vindictive actions on Sen. Obama, but ultimately all Americans, were;

First, he sought to trivialize Obama’s stature on the national political stage and

Second, Wright narcissistically politicized Obama’s very important and legit speech on race given in Philadelphia. Senator Obama did not throw Rev. Wright under the bus, Wright committed his own vehicular suicide while trying to cut Obama down to size.

I forgive Obama for his association with Rev. Wright, sometimes when we seek to reach a higher goal we don’t have the luxury of expertly choosing who can help us get one or two step closer to attain that goal.
