A hand-clapping, toe-tapping President Bush celebrated Black Music Month today at the White House with a concert of gospel music.
"The gospel music tradition was born from great pain," Bush said. "Slaves sang spirituals to communicate with one another in the fields, and songs of faith helped black Americans endure the injustice of segregation. Today, gospel is more than an anchor for black culture and history -- it's a source of inspiration for the whole nation...
"Today, gospel music continues to provide strength for our communities, and it is making the good news sound sweeter than ever."
During his remarks, Bush cracked a few jokes about himself.
"Some of our presidents themselves were skilled musicians," he said. "Some were not. As a matter of fact, after The Temptations came here a couple of months ago, I was so inspired that I thought I would take up singing. Laura said, you might just stick with practicing your speaking."
See the above video of Bush during the celebration. Here are some more Bush dancing moments:

If he could have been as diligent in his direction of aid to the good citizens of New Orleans and other areas, that weren't served by Ridiculous Republican governors, that would have been real news. This article is fluff, photo-ops, the only kind of news he has been capable of, for years now !! What a major disappointment he has been !! He isn't even worth impeaching !!

I love the old time Gospel sound; The
predecessor of blues, jazz, and rock and roll, the 'Devils beat' itself.
'The blues had a baby and named it rock and roll!'
