Look out, Obama.
Ben Smith reports on his Politico blog that there's a new 527 in town. It's called "Swift Boat Obama" and registered to a Gilbert, Ariz., man named Eric Hurley.
527s are tax-exempt organizations that try and influence a nomination or election outcome. Because they aren't officially part of a campaign, they can spend and advertise however they want, and sometimes the results aren't pretty.
The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth helped derail Sen. John Kerry (D - Mass.) White House bid by raising doubts about his military service. Many media outlets reported that the charges were inconsistent and riddled with inconsistencies, but Kerry wasn't able to shake the accusations.

He is doing a finejob at derailing himself..I saw on another blog they aren't even sure he is a US Citien...Once again..Where is the media?..Should that prove true then what we do and what about all the millions that have been donated and already spent??

In the interest of accuracy I must point out that it is NOT a turkey on the The Great Seal of Obama, but a flattened chicken.
However, I agree with you in that Obama is doing a fine job shooting himself in the foot.

The so-called media debunking of the charges was itself debunked. Kerry was shown to have told a lot of whoppers about his wartime service, for example, his claim to have been in Cambodia. But who expects the Obama campaign's Swamp subsidiary to tell the whole truth about any Democrat?
And to this day, John Kerry still hasn't released his service record to the general public.

If I remember correctly the dictator of Cambodia was an unsavory Saddam-esque character. I would think you would want it to be true that John Kerry and other US soldiers were in Cambodia to "liberate" their people from tyranny. You certainly have no problem with soldiers dying in Iraq.

I really don't CARE what kind of logo Senator Obama is using...what's more important???...THE ECONOMY ...THE NEVER ENDING invasion...47 million w/o health care...people losing their homes...4.00 a gallon gas...the DISMANTLING of our Constitution... or his logo??? Get REAL!!!!
