Barack Obama is in DC today, planning a series of meetings focused mostly on national security.
His senior working group on national security is set to discuss the post-Bush challenges in foreign policy and, later, the Democratic presidential candidate will meet with some 40 retired admirals and generals to discuss the state of the U.S. military.
He's also planning to meet with the leadership of the AFL-CIO and other major unions to talk about the fall campaign.
Later in the week, Obama is planning to meet with Democratic governors in Chicago, where they will talk about the effect of the economy on state budgets.
The list of Obama's foreign policy advisors now includes a big fish from the Clinton administration, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright. (The full list follows here.)
* Secretary of State Madeleine Albright
