Last week, Sen. Barack Obama said he would consider campaigning at a NASCAR event, but the folks at Comedy Central took it a little further.
The Indecision 2008 News Desk has come up with a (doctored) photo of Obama decked out in a racing jumpsuit with the Wonder brand. The photo was placed under the headline, "Barack Obama to suddenly care about NASCAR."
Our friends at Top of the Ticket note that Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have attended NASCAR events. The crowd has been more accepting to Bush's attendence than Clinton, who was booed.
Obama is not the first politician who has been joked about over NASCAR. A funny one is a Rush Limbaugh online photo of Bush with the caption, "Air Force One flight: $1,000,000, Extra secret service: $200,000, Having the taxpayers foot the cost of your NASCAR campaign stop: Priceless!"

The National Debt room which is huge and has no ceiling.
The "Tax Cut" Room with entry only to the wealthy.
The "Economy Room" which is in the toilet.

The reporter admits that an anti-Bush cartoon is her personal favorite. That cartoon is distributed by the Far Left "Media Matters".
Is anyone surprised?

WMD'S,
Thanks for sharing some humor. I would like to add this room to the house of horrors.
The Harriet Miers Nomination Room - The only qualification to enter is believing G.W Bush is the smartest man you've ever met.

I'm sure that Katie Fretland (and calling her a "reporter" is very debatable, Bruce) has fun laughing at republicans all day ensconced in the liberal swamp newsroom. Her whole job at the swamp seems to be to make posts that have about as much news value as a Big Mac's nutritional value. I'm still looking for the swamp posters who insist on every thread that the very act of watching a NASCAR race makes you a racist will just love it when Obama goes to one. I have a photo of Obama on a tractor at the Houston Stock Yards that's about 10 times funnier than anything that's ever come from Katie Fretland's liberal mind.

Consider how clueless the reporter must be to present the Bush-NASCAR photo as a "Rush Limbaugh" production when in reality it's produced by the far left outfit Media Matters and has nothing to do with Limbaugh.

Obama should be right at home at a NASCAR event - it's nothing but three hours of left-hand turns :)

Jeff, I have video of McCain performing a walk-on cameo on Raiders of the Lost Ark that's funnier than anything that ever came out of your neocon mind:
