FAIRFAX, Va.--Sen. Barack Obama will be peeling off his "unity/send money" tour Thursday to address a packed gymnasium at a Northern Virginia school.
While Obama is coming sans his new BFF, Hillary Clinton will be here in spirit. The event is billed as a town hall to address "Economic Security for Women"--another part of Obama's continuing effort to woo Clinton supporters by adopting part of the message she aimed squarely at the middle class. Obama is expected to talk about issues such as day care and health care.
We will bring you portions of the address, as well as hoping that Obama will in some shape or form reference Wednesday's controversy over the Rev. Jesse Jackson's wish to separate the candidate from crucial parts of his anatomy. (He probably won't, but we can dream.)
That's still probably an hour and half away, however. And we could use a sandwich. But there isn't one. And there isn't going to be one. The reporter sitting in front of us brought a sack lunch. She is smarter than we are.

Obama's energy "solution" is corn-based ethanol. The World Bank has issued a report stating that biofuels have forced global food prices up by 75%. In some places in the world where people trying to survive on one or two dollars per day, they're dying.
