After appearing on network news shows this morning, Sen. Barack Obama spent more than two hours today in a Washington office building that houses one of the leaders of his vice presidential search effort.
Obama and chief strategist David Axelrod entered a "Tenant Entrance Only" door in a building that houses Covington & Burling, the law firm where Eric Holder works, according to a pool report provided by the Washington Post's Perry Bacon.
His dispatch reported that Obama aides would not say what the meeting was about or if the Illinois Democrat was indeed meeting with Holder.
Obama walked out that same side door, holding his briefcase. When a reporter shouted, "Who were you meeting with?" he smiled and replied, "I'm not telling you."
