RICHMOND, Va. -- Sen. Barack Obama created a bit of a traffic jam this morning, as local police blocked off a tollway off-ramp waiting for him to exit his hotel 30 minutes behind schedule.
The delay was apparently because of an extended meeting between Obama and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, someone believed to be a running mate finalist.
When Kaine was asked whether Obama has asked him to be his running mate, the governor responded: "I'm going to let the campaign speak for the campaign." He also declined to comment when asked if he could rule it out.
Kaine described the meeting this way: "He visited with my staff just to basically say hi to them and thank them for all their hard work."
Obama spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Obama also took a photo with Kaine's staff. She wasn't sure how much of the meeting was private to Obama and Kaine, and how much was with staff.
The media watched the traffic jam from buses outside the hotel, as several commuters got out of their vehicles to yell at police, who yelled right back.
Before the motorcade departed, a local news crew had started to film the scene and interview angry commuters.

Doubtless the Swamp will show us the videos of those angry commuters, shoved aside to make way for the New Messiah.

I would like to see the interviews of the angry commuters. I hope this helps them decide who to vote for. He is so important that he doesn't consider anyone but himself. Sounds like the current president. Please don't let this self appointed saviour be our next president.

I don’t understand with McCain being in the senate 25 years and being much more well known than Obama, why is he not blowing Obama away in the polls??? I will tell you why because people know McCain is a dangerous war monger and he will destroy this country even further than his buddy Bush!!!!!! People are starting to realize McCain is too old and too dangerous!!!
