John McCain has outraised Barack Obama in Florida, Michigan and Nevada, in the chase for campaign contributions.
But in the vast majority of the "battleground states'' - 16 states in which the presidential candidate's margin of victory was less than 8 percentage points in 2004 - Obama has outraised McCain. In Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin and more..
Now, money does not equal votes.
Just saying -- say our colleagues at the Los Angeles Times, who note at Top of the Ticket that an examination of reported fundraising in the 16 states considered most up for grabs in November shows that Obama has outpaced McCain in dialing for dollars.

Obama got in a sticky wicket when he tried to have a backstage pass giveaway where everyone paid $5.00 to enter the contest. I guess the legalities of it didn't add up, so they had to ask people to donate their time to the campaign to make it legit, and they did this AFTER THEY WON. They were none to happy. I don't blame them.
If it weren't for the media SAYING it was true about the legalities hmmmm, I would say a scheme they had backfired.
