BURBANK, Calif. - David Axelrod says he feels like he is hearing echoes sometimes when he listens to John McCain.
"I feel like we're ghostwriting for the McCain campaign right now," he said. "I think what that means is, they understand what we understand: that this is an election about change."
On a flight this afternoon from Denver to here, Axelrod said he is convinced that the recent renewed focus on economic issues in the campaign will benefit his client, Sen. Barack Obama.
Axelrod said he believes McCain will struggle to present himself as an agent of change.
"The problem is the suit doesn't fit," he said. "John McCain is a co-author of the policies of the last eight years."

There is a big difference. John McCain changes his position every couple of hours. He says, "My friends, Trust me." That is when we should check our wallet and the value of our 401K. ..............

Gee, Do I get a whiff of Nixon's stonewalling when I hear that Palin has discarded her vow of "open and transparent" politics ? Come on Sarah, you're in the big leagues now, and you can't hide until AFTER election day. Let's hear YOUR version of Troopergate. And remember...if you lie, your nose will be soooo.. long !

The problem with Obama is that the "reform" suit doesn't fit him either, and the electorate is wising up to that. Obama's entire history is as a corrupt Chicago Machine hack and a corporate lapdog. Most Americans would rather not have Chicago style governance in the White House. That's why Axelrod and the Swamp's writers are in a panic.

ONLY ONE candidate is ready to control spending with veto power
ONLY ONE candidate is ready to take on his own party to improve the economy
ONLY one of these candidates has taken a hard line on "earmarks"
ONLY ONE of these candidates has enough experience to deal with the economy
the BEST candidate FOR THE ECONOMY is the ONLY one who even has a chance of helping our economy
MCCAIN / PALIN 2008
(the choice is now so easy and is still getting more obvious by the day)

Once again, Obama puts his foot in his mouth. It was McCain who had been calling for more regulations before all this happened, we now know what Obama was busying doing>

"renewed focus on economic issues in the campaign will benefit his client, Sen. Barack Obama." His Client. Enough said about that opinion.
But on to the next opinion from Sen. Obama's campaign chief, ""The problem is the suit doesn't fit," he said. "John McCain is a co-author of the policies of the last eight years."
When your campaign leader, whose interest is pushing his "Client" on the American public, has only the tiring and old "McSame" phrases over and over as rebuttal, where's the BEEF?
Keep pumping the kool-aid to the blind followers. They aren't strong enough or large enough to fool the American public into thinking the rhetoric and false promises are believable, it's Hollywood! Celebrity that they think will win out.

Axelrod bores me. Obama Alert! He's against "Johnny McBush!" Puh-lease. All things being considered, the blind faith of the Obama-ites is kinda freaky. The Chicagoland Obaminator will no more bring change than McCain. The difference is that McCain is willing to work with the other side - his record proves that. Obama, like the National Review points out, "pats ytou on the head that he understands your position - then goes on his merry liberal way." His words speak bi-partisan, but his voting record is a very partisan liberal. The change suit doesn't fit.

With no doubt Obama is the agent of change. He declared it from day one and he is sticking to it. With McCain his plan is a moving target and changes every day and some times a couple of times a day.
McCain is an integral part of the 8 years of the plunder of George Bush and he can't talk about change. The real change is to eliminate the legacy of George bush and McCain.
