Senators John McCain and Barack Obama will be on the cover of October's Field & Stream magazine. ("McCain vs Obama: We question the candidates on guns and conservation" the teaser on the front tells us.)
I think I can guess which candidate most of Field & Stream's readers, those people in deer-hunting country clinging to their guns and religion, would tend towards. It'd be the one who picked a running mate who knows how to field dress a moose, but again that's only an educated guess.
I love the cover's main headline, "Find Your Bull." It obviously isn't meant to apply to the 2008 presidential campaign but could. And on a few different levels.

I thought you were going to make a comment about 'bulls and bears' on Wall Street.
And yes, the Republican lack of oversight both created the phony bull market - and then killed it. We're watching the field-dressing now. Barclay carved out part of Lehman Brothers.
