Michelle Obama is back.
The Obama campaign says she really hasn't gone anywhere -- she hosted a forum in Indiana last week -- but she certainly has been eclipsed of late by another woman in the presidential campaigns.

The wife of the Democratic presidential nominee will turn out for a series of roundtables with working women this week, targeting at least one state that appears to be a long shot for Barack Obama's presidential camapign - North Carolina - and one that holds a close-fought race with Republican John McCain.
Michelle Obama will host a women's economic roundtable in Charlotte on Thurday and then stage a rally for women for Obama in the area.
It's a continuation in a series of roundtables that the Democrat's wife started during the primary campaign, with an attempt to showcase the nominee's plans for working families and "strengthening the middle class.'' That was before McCain put his own working woman on his ticket, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who appears to be responsible for a significant shift of white women toward the Republican ticket.
The last time that Michelle Obama (pictured here in a forum on Sept. 10 in Indiana in an AP photo by Darron Cummings) appeared in North Carolina, before the party's primary in May, she hosted a roundtable with military spouses at Fort Bragg.
This time, she will arrive in a state where the average of the latest polls portrays an 11 percent advantage for McCain, a state that President Bush carried by better than 12 percentage points during both of his elections.
Wednesday's warmup will play out in potentially more friendly territory: The capital of a demographically shifting state that has sided with Republicans in presidential contests but has elected Democratic leaders lately, a state where the latest polls portray a dead-heat between Barack Obama and John McCain.
In Richmond on Wednesday, Michelle Obama will join Lilly Ledbetter, an Alabaman who carried her fight for equaly pay to the Supreme Court.

I'll be the first to say it here. I don't like Michelle Obama. It's not because she's black. It's because she's so pushy about her opinions and so outspoken. I don't like Hillary Clinton for the same reason. They're women, but they're not feminine. Feminism isn't about being loud and pushy. It's about being quiet yet assertive. It's about acting like a lady, not a bimbo.
The Obamas appeal to the screaming MTV masses. McCain and Palin appeal to the quieter, more subdued crowds. Even though Obama can draw a bigger crowd than McCain, that doesn't mean much. I hate those types of events and wouldn't go to one for either party.
But I do go out and vote. And I can't bring myself to vote for/with the so-called "feminists" out there today when the word "feminine" doesn't begin to describe them or their actions.

If Mrs. Obama is "stumping" for her other half, What is she saying? The Last I heard was when she said "For the first time in my life I'm proud to be an American".
She's what? 40+. Why is this the first time?

Anyone who thinks that Michelle Obama, or Jill Biden, are not lady-like and that Sarah Palin is has blinders on. Both are far more classy than Palin!
