The "interrogation'' of Sarah Palin, as Republican presidential nominee John McCain today called the questioning of his running mate, continues:
ABC News' Charlie Gibson got the first bite at the vice presidential nominee last week, FOX News Channel's Sean Hannity is interviewing Palin this week and now CBS News anchor Katie Couric is getting in line.
But there's going to be a bit of a wait here: In fact, the first televised presidential debate will come and go on Friday, Sept. 26, before CBS airs its Couric session with Palin. However, it will air before the one televised running mates' debate on Oct. 2.
CBS says Couric's interview with Palin will start airing Monday, Sept. 29, after the anchor spends two days on the campaign trail with Palin on Sunday, Sept. 28 and that Monday. CBS is promising "behind-the-scenes access'' with Palin and Sen. John McCain.

Comments
Palin is one one TV channel saying that she and McCain will get government out of the way of business. McCain is on another channel saying he is going to corral Wall Street. They need to update her script. McCain says, "My friends, trust me.' That is when you should check your wallet and the value of your 4011K. .........

Wow! Gibson, Hannity and Couric. There are three heavyweights. The interview I'd love to see would be with Jon Stewart.

no matter the interviewer, GOVERNOR PALIN will continue to demonstrate that she is more experienced that obama and more "in touch" with reality than biden

It becomes more apparent every day; The country can't endure a Palin presidency.

Yes, of course she is more experienced and she has a passport (uh oh - a government agency - quick, shut it down!) and her proximity to Russia gives her special insight...

Interrogation???? From Charles Gibson????
My goodness, McCain is really afraid of letting her loose.

Why is Palin trying to sue to stop the troopergate investigation, which was originally voted on by 8 Republicans and 4 Democrats? And which she said she was happy to participate in?
What is she trying to hide?
Sounds a lot like Cheney to me.

She has had ample plus time to practice...Reminds me of history in the 7th grade when a person had to memorize everything..Lucky she is a fast learner because she seems to know nothing..Just her little over practiced stump speaches..

Can't wait for the debates. Palin's inexperience and complete ignorance will show up loud and clear and then maybe we can get back to the business of focusing on McCain's alliance with Bush.

This woman is a ruthless, dishonorable person. She's a hypocrite. And she has no respect for the first amendment in terms of media reporting for people who do not have enough time to pay attention to governance.
The big question is--will the corporate media's employers--the big bosses are the ONLY people who are benefitting from the status quo--do some decent reporting on this sham of a candidate before it's too late.
She appeals to people's inner homer simpson--medioocre--almost great is fantastic.

I'd like to see Helen Thomas ask her a few questions.

Why is the McCain campaign going to such lengths to keep Sarah Palin from answering questions? Don't they have confidence in her ability to defend herself? Obviously they don't. Why is that? Are they sexists who think a woman can't defend herself as well as a man?

The reason the McCain campaign is going to such lengths to keep Sarah Palin from answering any important questions,is due to the fact that she can't answer them. She's not qualified she's a double talker and Mr McCain's lap dog. I personally Believe shes just a ploy to get woman voters on his side,I mean she governed a state of 6,000 people and we, the American people are supposed to believe she's ready to help lead our country. Why because shes good looking? or because she refuses to answer important questions? You know I seen this before, this "do as i say and I'll explain later" attitude the Republicans so proudly exemplify but it was hard to understand because the news reels were in German!
