Good morning.
Here are a few Washington events of note for Monday, September 8.

President Bush is speaking about volunteerism.
Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings is discussing the importance of high-quality assessments in helping students and schools improve under No Child Left Behind.

You ARE going to report on Obama's latest gaffe, right? Saying on ABC Sunday, "You're right, John McCain is not questioning MY MUSLIM FAITH!"
Goes well with his other comment that he knows where Russia is "because I saw it on a map." Maybe he knows where Alaska is now although he may not be aware of whether it's the 57th or 58th state. Obama makes Dan Quayle look like Albert Einstein by comparison.
