ACORN has teamed up with the political hardball-playing filmmaker Robert Greenwald of Brave New Films to mount a video defense of the community organizing group that has become the bogeyman for a lot of conservatives. (Will Republicans be dressing up as ACORN organizers this Halloween?)
This is the kind of response that should go over well with ACORN's defenders and perhaps many independents who see the McCain-Palin campaign's obsession on ACORN as a distraction from the real issues.
I'm guessing conservatives will dismiss it as the work of liberal propagandists.
That vintage video of conservative icon Paul Weyrich saying he doesn't want everyone to vote is pretty damning at first blush though it would be helpful to see what the context was.

This is what I talked about earlier. The RNC is trying to purge voters who have been forclosed on because they figure they will vote against the republican who brought this economy to a grinding halt. Now lets see......a worker making up registrations to get paid that will never lead to voter fraud....or purging the suffering......mmmmmm...you make the call. These RNC purgers have a direct tie to McBush.

M.Dobletok....Nothing like posting something from a "fair and balanced" website. The top three "articles" are taken from the website. Why don't you just make stuff up instead of relying on some right wing propaganda rag?

People should take a close look at nasty campaigns. People should take note of what is working. What is working is the prophecy of Barack Obama. .......

First we have the taxpayers pay ACORN to rig the election.
Then you have the media spread the big lie. "Republicans are suppressing the votes of the poor"
On Nov 4th Obama wins with the philosophy, Obama's "Spread the wealth"? " From each according to his means to each according to his needs."
On Nov 5th we all wake up in the U.S.S.A.
Its so sad :(

Mike C....Maybe you missed the "spread of wealth" from the middle class to the wealthy. The argument that changing the tax codes are socialism is just plain bogus and most fairminded people see this. I know the far right wing don't see it that way...but they are the same people who throw around the name-calling and label liberals as anti-american. That smells alot like what someone named Adolf did well.

Acorn's mission is to elect Obama president, whatever it takes.
An investigation must be made in all states where Acorn operates.
Also, where do their funding come from?

I just now learned why Bush Admin was in hot water with DEMS for firing all those lawyers during last election time. TURNS OUT, THOSE LEFT LEANING LAWYERS REFUSED TO GO AFTER ACORN FOR ELECTION FRAUD DURING THOSE ELECTIONSS and we see NO ONE GOING AFTER ACORN NOW ! ! !
LOOK AT THE THREATS THEY ARE MAKING AT McCAIN AND REPUBLICANS IF THEY GO AFTER ACORN>

Smells like fraud, someone that knows so little about a subject should not be posting such assertive statements. Repugs can not win an election based on issues. This is becoming very apparent.
