"Funny?'' Danny DeVito asks.
"It's not a funny election,'' Gary Marshall says.
"You remember all those jokes we made about George Bush?'' Carl Reiner asks.
""Are you laughing now?'' Valerie Harper wants to know.
It's the Dick Van Dyke Show equivalent of a campaign TV ad, the work of the Jewish Alliance for Change, which says it will air the ad in the three biggest battleground states in the final week of the presidential campaign. The group has bought cable time in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania on CNN, FNC, MSNBC and TV Land.
This is one of those 501(c)(4) organizations founded, in this case, "to promote Jewish engagement in the political process in pursuit of the common good'' and conducting a "multimedia outreach initiative to educate the Jewish community about the issues at stake in the presidential campaign.''
Among their campaign efforts: "Clear the smear.'' And they aren't talking about cream cheese.
"The economy stinks,' Rhea Pearlman says in the ad.
"And he wants to put that girl who winks in the second position,'' Reiner says.
"We can't afford another joke in the White House,'' DeVito says.
"I'm voting for hope. I'm voting for that one,'' Marshall says, with a nod to a wall poster picturing Barack Obama.

They're voting for hope - I say they'v lived in the land of pretending too long, but hey with the money they make they're in that top 5% so they can pay up and shut up.

If they're against a Republican candidate, look for the posts reminding us that none of these people were ever really important and they're has-beens now. IN 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ...

I don't know why someone who is Jewish would support anyone who belongs to the party who wants to disarm them, considering past history-
