Downingtown, Penn. - Sen. John McCain told voters here that the real winner of Wednesday night's debate was Joe the Plumber.
"Joe's the man," said McCain. "He won and small businesses won across America. The American people are not going to let Senator Obama raise their taxes in a tough economy."
Joe Wurzelbacher of Holland, Ohio met Barack Obama over the weekend when Obama dropped by his neighborhood to knock on doors and talk to neighbors. Wurzelbacher challenged Obama on his tax plan and McCain raised the plumber's concerns at the final presidential debate at Hofstra University.
McCain noted that U.S. small businesses provide 16 million jobs and said that "raising taxes on small businesses will kill jobs."
"Joe the plumber said 'look, I've been working all my life, I want to buy the business I'm in, but your're going to raise my taxes,'" McCain recounted. "You know what Senator Obama said? He wants to spread the wealth around."
McCain vowed not to raise taxes if elected president and said people shouldn't have to give up their hard-earned dollars.
"America didn't become the greatest nation on earth by spreading the wealth, we became the greatest nation by creating new wealth," McCain said.

Joe should ask McSame - "how's Republican economics working out for us now"??? Trickle down doesn't work! It should, but it no longer does because the rich have become less Christian and very selfish and stingy! This is not the America of old (with traditions, ethics and values), but the new Keating 5 America! And if Joe wants to have some HOMES to service, he had better learn to share his good fortune - and that my friend is the true Christian American way. Taxes are a small price to pay for how the RICH live in America!! Know when you are ahead and be thankful!

Doesn't Joe Know how patriotic it is to pay higher taxes?! Sit down Joe. Stand up Chuck!
Everyone knows the government is a far better steward of your money than you are. Cough up the dough Joe! It's time for you to spread the weath. Let's hit him with an Obscene Profits Tax while we're at it! He looks like he's raking it in. Then when Joe leaves the country to plumb western Europe to avoid redistributing his earnings, blame Republican tax breaks for shipping his job overseas!
Say it ain't so, Joe.

Joe the plumber is a registered Republican. The McCain campaign said they had no prior contact with Joe, but apparently they had his phone number because they said his phone was busy when they tried to call him during the debate.

We need Joe and everybody else to cough up the dough unless you'd rather just continue to rack up debt, devalue the dollar, and pass the bill for the irresponsible spending of the Bush Admin to our children and grandchildren. You want to cut your taxes? Pay down the debt. I'll take the "tax and spend" Democrats over the "borrow and spend" Republicans any day.

The millionaire Obama, and millionaire Joe Biden, are more than welcome to spread their own wealth around.
No one's stopping them.
But as usual, they're being generous with other people's money, not their own.

Uhmmmm.. Joe Biden is not a millionaire and McCain has about 18x more money than both Obama and Biden have together.

Maybe we need another similarity to the "Boston Tea Party".
I know we are all very busy trying to make a $ while keeping reality at bay. However, this doesn't mean our politicians have the right to make decisions that affect the People without consulting the People.
I think these Politicians have forgotten who they work for.
