Well, we haven't even gotten to Election Day and already Senate Democrats are letting it be known that they mayl exact revenge on Sen. Joe Lieberman, the former Connecticut Democrat who is now an independent and supporting Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain.
CQ just e-mailed an alert about a story that's up on its site :
There's a good chance Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.) will lose his only committee chairmanship next year, according to Democratic aides.
Members of the majority party's leadership members have discussed taking away Lieberman's gavel on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, perhaps replacing it with a subcommittee gavel, aides said Wednesday.
Lieberman's spokesman, Marshall Wittmann, said his boss "is focused on doing all he can to elect John McCain as president rather than post-election Washington punditry and politics."

Lieberman's not a D. He's an I (and might as well be an R). Why should he be a committee chair for the Dems?

We hate to think in terms of revenge - but Lieberman has made his bed and he should have to live with that. .........

He Via, Franken? That's your choice? I wouldn't even qualify you for voting, let alone a city council position.
