Rush Limbaugh took after Christopher Buckley for supporting Sen. Barack Obama. The radio man ridiculed the son of conservative icon William Buckley for the compliments Buckley paid Obama's mind.
Being able to speak well and think deeply evidently aren't high up there on Limbaugh's list of desirable traits in a president.
Limbaugh describes a country in which the elites across party lines are banding together to support one of their own instead of Sen. John McCain, the very wealthy prep-school trained scion of two admirals who really is the true champion of flyover America to hear Limbaugh tell it. Maybe Limbaugh was just being cleverly ironic.

Eh, come on we all know that Limbaugh supports McCain strictly because he's white. He said race is the only reason Powell could have supported Obama, so it just follows that his support is entirely racially based as well.
Rush Limbaugh, Republican. White supremicist.

Ocycontin and prostitutes, and a disgraceful exit from ESPN...... and Rush still has a job? Even "Joe the plumber" has to wonder how that works.

Being able to write well and think deeply evidently aren't high up there on the Tribune's requirements for a political columnist.

I say find out who his sponsors are and boycott them until he is off the air.

I guess this finally answers the question "does the combination of drug abuse and mild obesity result in permanent brain damage?"

What makes me angry is when other bloggers say that it is "morally illicit" to vote for Senator Obama:

How fat man became one of the big players in the republican party is still amazing to me, but when the dust settles and the 3 factions of the GOP battle it out for dominance, I don't see a major role for him.

I guess Rush doesn't know he has become a caricature of himself.

Boycott?? LOL!
Good luck with that- Rush has more listeners in the Chicago market alone than Air America has ever had nationwide... the left will never be able to use any reasonable marketing solution to get Rush off the air, like boycotting- left wing subject matter is just not marketable.
- the proof is in the left's pursuit of the "Fairness" doctrine..since not enough people disagree with Rush to make a difference to sponsors of the show- the alternative is to get government regulations in place to do it for them...kind of like getting your big brother to beat someone up for you.
Then you will have the media that says you want- politically correct, left wing- feel good talk points..It also looks like you will have all day to listen, since you won't have a job to go to..

I hope Limbaugh took his meds, today. We don't want him saying any thing silly, which he usually does, if he hasn't taken his medication ! He needs that Rush !! He would have been a great running mate for Ronnie Reagan, they both were second rate actors and they both couldn't get any where, without a script !! The common man, my prescription, at 14 million dollars, a year !!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE AND WHOLE. NOW.

Good ol Rash....If Indies and Repugs can not see that this party has nothing to offer but hate and venom, then I don’t know what will. When will the good Christians out there finally stand up and reject this kind of filth. When will they stand on their own two feet and refuse to be herded around like sheep by the wolves. The election this year has been the clearest example to date.

Does Rush still have a show? I really haven't heard anything about him for several years. I thought he was dropped after being arrested several times as a junkie.

To understand the success of Limbaugh, you need look no further than to the followers of the "Reverend" Jim Jones. Rush, Shawn, Ann, and Laura have ruin anyone with half a brain out of the GOP.
