It's hard not to notice the disconnect between this ad from Sen. John McCain's campaign and the message McCain has been pounding on the campaign trail.
McCain has spent weeks calling Sen. Barack Obama's character into question through raising the William Ayers issue, the ACORN issue, the Tony Rezko issue and, this week, the Rashid Khalidi issue.
The McCain campaign's argument has been clear, Obama doesn't have the judgment and character to be president. This would seem to be the end of the matter.
But this ad released yesterday, raises the question of experience, then ends with the announcer saying "The fact is, Barack Obama is not ready... yet." Okay, so are we supposed to forget the other stuff the campaign's been saying? If we accepted the McCain camp's prior argument about Obama's character, are we then supposed to turn around and believe it wouldn't matter in four years?
Does this ad make sense to anyone out there? I think it really confuses McCain's argument. Either he believes Obama is unfit to be president or he doesn't.

McCain is desperate and is trying to throw everything and anything to see if it sticks. He still has not told me how/why his foreign policy or economic policy will be different from Bush.

Typical ad by McCain. He can't remember what his ads have said in the past. Liars often forget the lies they tell.

People do realize that decisions (excutive acumen) made during the primary and general election campaigns does relate with your executive ability to run the nation. Obama has run a well oiled primary and general election campaign. McCain, on the other hand, has run an awful campaign and made equally awful decisions. After eight years of the ineffectual executive decision making of Bush, why would anyone want an equally inept executive like McSame?

I believe that Obama just has a laser-like focus...and no matter what sticks to his plan.
Seems like he's a general leading a massive army and doing a great job.
I bet that the Republicans only wish they had the same strategy and ability.

He doesnt believe that Obama is ready - then selects Pail-in.
He admits he doesn't know anything about the economy. Then he SUSPENDS his campaign to go and help out the experts with the crisis.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME....

McCain is like a madman in the dark - stabbing in different directions hoping he hits something.
