The McCain campaign poohed poohed the Obama infomercial thusly:
Please see our campaign's response to Barack Obama's thirty minute infomercial:
"As anyone who has bought anything from an infomercial knows, the sales-job is always better than the product. Buyer beware."
---Tucker Bounds, spokesman McCain-Palin

Comments
Count on the McCain campaign to come out with a bitter, snarky comment.

"Buyer Beware?"
That's it? That's the McCain camps response to Obama's 30 minute commercial? No wonder Obama is destined to become the next president of the United States!

I didn't watch Obama's infomercial, nor did any other real American that doesn't believe in Socialism and Marxism.

Absolutely Agree. Great marketing and packaging can often mask a shitty product and get it sold. Then the person who bought the piece of garbage opens the package and takes the product out and realizes they bought a piece of shit. Next, they try to return the piece of shit for a refund or throw it away. In the case of Obama, if Americans get duped into voting for him because of his marketing...they will be sorely disappointed because we can't return him for 4 years. By that time this country will have gone to complete hell. Our economy will tank, and we will be at serious risk for terrorism etc. WAKE UP AMERICA!! DON"T FALL FOR HIS MARKETING TACTICS. BE SMART!

I couldn't decide between "sour grapes" or "was that the best they could come up with?"

Buyer Beware?
-Buyer already sold! Voted for Obama today. Not only with NO reservations but felt completely pumped up on my way out of the voting station. Very liberating after 8 years if Bush/Cheney!
I urge others to do the same!

"Our economy will tank, and we will be at serious risk for terrorism etc."
Our economy WILL tank? You mean it hasn't already? Eight years of Bush and the Good Ole Boys has sent this country straight to the sewer. The RNC and their fear tactics sicken me.

Dahlia from Chicago - You mean right where we are now? You obviously have been asleep for the last 8 Godd*mn years. The problem with Obama is that he actually inspires people to pick up the burden of morality and think about something outside of themselves for a change. McCain is a toolbag, but I'm sure he doesn't see that in the mirror that reflects only entitlement for him. What a joke.

It is great to hear all the voters, who have already cast their votes for, dare I say it, the next President of the United States, Senator Barrack Obama and Vice-President Biden !!? I am on my way, my self, to cast my vote for a very qualified young American and I feel as though, I am voting for another JFK. I know that isn't actually the case, because Senator Obama brings a whole new set of qualities and talents to our Presidency !! In the same breath, may God watch over him, Senator Obama and his Family and Senator Biden and his Family !! America needs them, now, and I hope we realize that, before it is too late !! Someone said, buyer beware, it should read, voter beware, of the Bush-McCain Republican nonsense, even on election day and after !! Good Luck to the Democrats and onward to victory !!!!!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE AND WHOLE. NOW.

"Buyer Beware" is right on!
Which is why millions of Americans aren't buying what McSame/Palin and the Republic Party have been trying to sell us in 2008!
