John McCain, outgunned by Barack Obama in television advertising, will attempt to counter the Democrat's prime-time move tonight - a 30-minute campaign commercial airing on most networks - with a 30-second spot calling Obama "not ready'' to lead.

"Behind the fancy speeches, grand promises and TV special, lies the truth,'' the narrator of the new McCain ad airing on broadcast networks warns, picturing Obama and the crowds he has drawn abroad and at home. "With crises at home and abroad, Barack Obama lacks the experience America needs.

"And it shows. His response to our economic crisis is to spend and tax our economy deeper into recession,'' warns the ad, displaying pictures of poverty and the impoverished - actually people whom Obama offers new tax credits to, not tax increases. "The fact is Barack Obama's not ready yet,'' the ad warns, playing on a theme long sounded in McCain ads portraying Obama as "dangerously unprepared'' to be president.

For his part, Obama is closing his campaign with a barrage of campaign commercials attempting to make a connection with voters, such as the half-hour presentation airing at 8 pm EDT tonight on most broadcast networks - with the Republican National Committee accusing Obama mainly of "delaying the start of the World Series'' with his commercial.
And Obama has been vastly outspending McCain on TV.

In the closing week, however, McCain is boosting his ad buy in seven key states -- Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, "closing the gap between his advertising and Obama's, according to Nielsen.

On Sunday, McCain ran just 331 TV ad units in those seven states -- 308 percent fewer than the 1,350 ad units that Obama ran.. But on Monday, Obama's lead in these key battleground states shrank to 113 percent -- or a margin of 1,528 ad units, after McCain's campaign increased the number of TV ad units it ran in those states by 308 percent to 1,353 units.

"Both candidates continue to focus the bulk of their advertising on Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania,'' Nielsen notes. "On Monday, McCain ran 78 percent of his 1,353 ads (1,057 units) in those three states, while Obama ran 73 percent of his 2,881 ads (2,118 units) there.

Overall, between Oct. 6 and Oct. 27, Obama placed 153 percent more ad units (64,917 vs. 25,630) than McCain in these seven key battleground states, Nielsen notes.

The Obama camp suggests that Nielsen is missing part of the picture: With the Republican National Committee also airing ads on McCain's behalf. The better-funded Obama campaign is running its own ads, while McCain and the RNC share the GOP's ad costs.

Senator McCain hasn't offered a single, realistic, fair-minded program, that he will implement, if he were to be elected. He has indulged in character-assassination, even though, he was a victim of the very despicable practice, by the Rove-Bush-Cheney Republicans, in his failed attempt to wrest the Presidency from President Bush. Now, he stoops to debase himself and our electoral process by not leveling with the voters. He has plans for this problem and for that problem and he isn't going to inform the voter, until after they elect him !! He's not ready, for anything but retirement !! He is not now, nor will he ever be, ready for our Presidency !! To complicate matters, his astounding choice of Governor Palin as his Vice-Presidential candidate, was the last act of a tragic comedy. Maybe the most under-qualified person ever to be chosen as a Vice-Presidential candidate, Senator McCain chooses Governor Palin. Well, at least they have one thing in common, they both have been investigated for official misconduct. Is that a pathetic statement on who we are willing to accept as our leaders or what !!?? After the tag team of Bush-Cheney, it's understandable how Senator McCain could make such a mistake !! What the heck, that tag team was elected twice and now, we sure are paying for it !!
Vote for Senator Obama and Senator Biden, at least they haven't been charged with official misconduct and they both have proven to be diligent and fair-minded in the execution of their duties as Senators !!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE AND WHOLE. NOW.

Very good-

Not ready for Obama-

Not ready for SOCIALISM-

Mcain proved his unreadiness and complete unsuitability for the office of President with his panicked countreproductive reaction to our current economic crisis. He was stampeded. We cannot ignore that he failed this recent and vital test.

Of course someone has to throw in a socialism remark. Neither of them have working ideas. It just so happens that McCain's ideas will make things much worse than Obama's. Even if Obama lacks experience, McCain has proven he lacks competence.

Seems the Obama Camp is embarsed with coments regarding the Solicaist Agenda

No LOAM, we love to hear McCain, Palin, and their supporters throwing around words like "socialist agenda" without knowing what they're talking about.

"Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production" - Wikipedia

Therefore, government ownership of banks and US car manufacturers supported by McCain, Obama, and the Bush Admin is socialism. Progressive tax policy, on the other hand, is not.
