We'll be live-blogging Sen. Barack Obama's infomercial using the CoverItLive.com technology. The live blog will appear in the box below which also allows comments. The infomercial starts at 8 pm ET.
We'll be interested in your reactions, specifically, was the infomercial worth it, did Obama close the deal?
But first, Access Hollywood beckons.

I am for Obama but was skeptical about this whole idea. But I have to say, this is not what I had in mind. This is exceeding my expectations.

All of us owe Senator Obama a big thank you for giving us the option of hope. We offer an open letter to the Senator. ..................

Can anyone be anymore sincere! Obama hit the ball out of the park tonight!

The infomercial was well produced and moving unless you simply don't like Obama.
Note: I found it interesting that other than one compelling segment featuring a retired black couple ... there were very few (if any) non-whites in the chosen footage of Barack meeting with citizens.
Must not be the target audience.

Wow!!
Amazing production!
Obama's humanity so revealed. This is how he'll seal the deal.

At exactly 7:37 CDT, Senator Obama finished his infomercial, the weather cleared in Philadelphia and the World Series could resume. The Phillies got a double and went ahead 3-2 and the Creator exlaimed "it is good."

We need an inspirational leader, one who can renew hope and a feeling of shared purpose. I'm voting for "that one."....Obama.

This is the difference between an inspirational leader and the small world of the republican party. The democrats are the party for all Americans, the other represents the "great" Americans who wrap themselves in the flag for power and themselves. While Obama inspires people to lift themselves up......McBush continues to try and bring down Obama and America with it. Thankfully, the election will be over and so will the smears in desperation. I have to say I have witnessed enough vile garbage from the "value" voters to make anyone sick. Living here in the south, I have once again reaffirmed my belief in the absolute joke called religion. If you could only hear what the "people of God" have to say in this area, it to would shake up of few of the truly faithful.

Truly a self made man. Made himself writing a book about himself.
I would like to hear from people other than him and his groomers. You are being sold a bill of goods. I don't know about "Lipstick on a pig" but I know "a pig in a poke" and that is what you have here.
"How could they tell, he'd deceive them so well, talk it is cheap, people follow like sheep."
This is our nation, please think about this. He is exploiting innocence, youth, and race. He will win, we will all lose.

Are you kidding. This infomerical realy made me think that Obama thinks I am a sheep. Was that couple reading separate bibles together or praying over them. What was all that.

Money would have been more wisely spent on the people in the ad who were struggling and needed hope. 3 million dollars could go a long way in spreading hope and change. The arrogance of this man and his hypocrisy turns my stomach. He wants to spread the wealth, but not his own.

Now I get it about these blogs all seem tilted in Obama's favor. They are cherry picked by a review commitee
