"Only in America,'' sing Brooks and Dunn, the Bush campaign's heroes.

Campaign rallies open and close with inspirational songs.

But what happens when the lyrics actually take on a meaning?

"Signed, Sealed, Delivered'' -- the Stevie Wonder classic -- played at the close of Michelle Obama's rally in Columbus, Ohio, today. That's the same anthem played by the Motown wonder himself on the field at Mile High in Denver, where Barack Obama accepted his nomination for the Democratic presidential nomination in August. And it's a song with which Obama closes his own rallies.

The deal wasn't signed, sealed and delivered in August. Is it closer?

Even more ear-catching today, was the tune that followed at Michelle Obama's closing, another song with which her husband closes his rallies: Brooks and Dunn's country anthem -- the song that anchored President Bush's reelection rallies in 2004.

"Only in America.''

One problem here, perhaps: Someone else closes his rallies with Brooks and Dunn's Only in America: John McCain.

Add to McCain's repertoire: Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone" (you know, that Top Gun thing), Dolly Parton's "Straight Talk'' and Tom Cochrane's "Life is a Highway.''

Which way will it go?

Not so quickly.....

I have decided to vote for McCain-Palin.

I'm a registered Democrat who voted for Hillary in the primary. Too bad the unfair Democrat primary process cheated Hillary out of the nomination.

Hillary is full square for Barak..she is not bitter about her loss. She takes it as she does...in stride. Those of you who are still bitter about it and will vote against Obama just because you think she was wronged, may just regret eventually who you voted for . You should be voiting for what is right for all Americans not against anyone.

Does anyone else find it strange that the Obama kids aren't going to see their great grandmother for the last time? I would think that would be a given. Oh well they can make the funeral if Obama has time to make another visit to Hawaii.

A new age is dawning in America, where the rest of the world will look up to us once again. Cynicism is dead. OBAMA!

A new day is coming that the world knows you can buy an election in America. Hail Emperor Obama the socialist. Spread the hard earned money to the lazy. McCain has flaws but at least he is honest and is not a rasist like Nobama. That is not a typo. McCain's daughter is more of a minority that Nobama. Obama is pro black and not for any other group in this country. Go on his web site and read about only black farmers getting help. Im am a member of a minority and I am voting McCain for my families future.

I believe Obama is ready to be commander in chief.I believe Obama can and will bring changing that the American people need for our Economy,Health Care, War, And Jobs.Republicans,Congressman's, Senators,Democrats, none of them ever experiewnce their position until we voters gave them a chance and elected them to office.I believe Obama deserve that same chance.

Barack Obama is the BEST MAN for the presidency. He has indicated that fact in his policies which are particularly in place for the most americans. He understands and relates to the average citizen.

He is the right man for the job and the Clintons have said this over and over again. As noted in a previous post, if you are voting for a person instead of voting based on issues, you are really missing the point and don't understand the voting process.
