All those Paul Krugman haters out there have one more reason this morning. He's won a Nobel Prize in Economics.
According to the Nobelprize.org site, Krugman, who is better known as a New York Times op-ed columnist than a trail-blazing economist won for "for his analysis of trade patterns and location of economic activity."
Krugman, a Princeton University economics professor, has been one of the Bush Administration's most persistent liberal critics. He's certainly one of the smartest. And one of the most consistently interesting. He's also a rarity these days, a liberal who doesn't shy away from that word.
Congratulations to Krugman. Now that he's won the Nobel, we'd all appreciate it if he would get back to work and brainstorm a way out of the global financial meltdown.

After the Acorn scandal, The Fannie and Freddy link to our party, The need of our democratic leaders to inject race into the election by clearly implying that if people do not vote for our campaign that they are racist.
I think that we proud democrats need to really rethink our presidential choice, because this is not who we are or what our party stands for.
Obama needs to denounce Acorn......immediately because voter fraud within this group is Off the Scale.
Thanks to our party, race may very well play a huge role in this election..............

Congratulations, Mr. Krugman. It is good to see, someone who deserves an award, receive an award !! Your observations on our economy, during these troubling times, have been very helpful and the remedies you have outlined, seem to be right on the money, so to speak. I wish you continued success and I look forward to your next column.

Notice how the hate-filled Frank James labels people who disagree with Paul Krugman "haters?"
Mostly, opponents just laugh at Krugman. There's a whole website devoted to how Krugman stretches the truth in his columns: http://www.krugmanwatch.com/
Take a look and get the "other side" the Swamp writers never give its readers.

The best thing about Krugman is that he uses FACTS, LOGIC, and EVIDENCE to support his arguments. He doesn't just shout at, point at and/or get into his opponents face like a Right Wing lunatic.

Krugman is almost always right. He predicted the "Great Unraveling" as did Warren Buffett, another target of the delusional right. It's telling that sheeple on the right will embrace easily debunked talking points from the likes of Sean Insanity as gospel, yet dismiss the wisdom of truly gifted individuals like Krugman, simply based on differences in ideology. Lincoln was never so blinded (read 'Team of Rivals'). It's another reason why Republicans can't govern.

He's much to partisan to be giving reliable information on the BANKING COLLAPSE....however, he does fit as a winner of the Nobel ha.
He stated on Olberman video posted above, that the HOMEOWNERS should have been looked after in this bailout as the DEMS wanted, then he says McCain would be the wrong guy for President.
SAY WHAT?>McCain has been doing nothing BUT talking about having some of this already set aside BAILOUT MONEY to go to the homeowners who could afford their loans to begin with, rather than it going to WALL STREET as planned, and OBAMA POO POOED THAT IDEA.
Now, Obama/Biden were both pushing for lowering the PRINCIPLE on those loans while it was still in the BANKS HANDS....and that would have COMPLETELY FINISHED OFF WHAT WAS LITTLE WAS LEFT OF THE BANKS AFTER ACORN/CRA/DEMS got done with them.

In the words of Barak Obama "When you put lipstick on a pig it still is a pig"
1st Al Gore now Krugman which relegates the stature of the Nobel Prize to something you get from a box of Cracker Jack!

Congratulations Mr. Krugman. You have been calling this catastrophe for 2 years or so.
You have been correct all along.
You would make a great Treasury Secretary, or perhaps Fed or SEC chief?

The 'Joe Sixpacks' posting here are pretty funny.
Fellas, you couldn't carry Krugman's doctoral thesis.
These 22 percenters actually think they know more about econ. than Krugman?

Hey, " Mike C " enjoy your Cracker Jacks and hold your head high, another American has won a very prestigious award !! Don't let your politics get in the way of celebrating an American's success !! Now, if they gave the award to either, Secretary Paulson or President Bush, you definitely would have something to frown about !! Thank God, they didn't !! Now that would be debasing the Award, don't you think !!?

When Al Bore was given the Nobel Peace Prize, I was reading a story about the Monks in Myanmar who were protesting against the military rule, risking life, and I became embarrassed for the U.S. and for the Nobel committee. I am embarrassed again.

The most important questions should be debated among political theorists that need to inform economists. Is capitalism good for social responsibility? is liberal perceptions of the global economy have not been distorted? Is it not the time for the US to entrench a more social democratic virtues instead of mere capitalism? Economists like Krugman are expected to ask these questions that are above the inclination to only fix problems without examining various political visions of the 'good society'.

Listen up 22 percenters:
KRUGMAN CALLED IT TWO YEARS AGO.
Paulson didn't
Bush didn't
Paulson didn't
Cox didn't
The caps are shouting, not emphasis.
It's the only thing you understand.
