Here are a few Washington events of note for Friday, October 18.
President Bush is speaking on the economy to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The Commerce Department is releasing its housing starts report for September.
Health and Human Services Michael Leavitt is speaking on global health policy recommendations for the next administration.
