Good morning.

Here are a few Washington events of note for Wednesday, October 29.

The Federal Reserve's Federal Open Market Committee is announcing whether it will cut interest rates.

President Bush is meeting with Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek of the Czech Republic.

A Council on Foreign Relations panel is discussing foreign policy in the 2008 presidential election.

SWAMP techies;

You need to fix the archive.
In the old days you called up a month and were presented with a secondary menu showing the days, then select the day.
This new SWAMP calls in the whole month at once, and even with a cable connection it takes a long long time to load.
Nearly unusable.
