Shaky financial markets, rollercoaster polls and bailout bills with seemingly endless zeros -- this fall's political events have been enough to scare the bejeebers out of the most jaded political operative.
To honor of the politicians involved in such bone-chilling tales, the Associated Press has a Web page with stencils to help you carve your favorite candidate's face onto the side of a pumpkin. For those still choosing sides, there's also a "VOTE" stencil to make your own glowing public service announcement.
If you'd rather use your own creative juices to craft a political pumpkin, the creators of www.yeswecarve.com offer inspiration and a place to showcase your masterpiece. The site features photos of "Barack-o-lanterns," as well as stencil patterns and a contest for the most creative design.
Some highlights include a variety of portrait stencils, a Republicans for Obama symbol combining the Obama "O" with the GOP elephant, and - my favorite - one that reads "Ooooobama!"

Come on, you can do better than that, name-caller !! Senator Obama has more patriotism in his little finger, than you have displayed by your mean-spirited postings !! If you can't see the damage the Bush-McCain Republicans have done to our nation, than you don't want to see and that is a sad state of your affairs. You are an American and that should mean something other than spewing falsehoods and assaulting a United States Senator, Senator Obama's, character !!
