As many as a million people are expected at Grant Park tonight for what a lot of people expect will be a victory celebration.
Sen. Barack Obama's campaign is issuing about 75,000 tickets. Everyone else is going to have to line up and hope to get in.
People started lining up early, like Monday night. Chicago Tribune journalists found the two earliest birds, the Brothers Kreiglstein -- Tom, 28, and Dan, 29 from Chicago.
Here's a report from the Tribune's Breaking News Desk.

What a great opportunity for Chicago to redeem itself after the police riot put a blot on its reputation as a protector of democracy. Even though Mayor Daley (Junior) is in charge of the place, the fact that we could have this occur shows that MAYBE he ain't like his dad. I sure hope Obama doesn't succumb to the pressure to go centrist.

Liberal Elite to the south side of teh park, the masses to the north side. Nothing like the great unifer.
No beer sales, but there will be plenty of kool-aid to go around.

That must be because you're just one of the masses I guess.

You are assuming I voted for McCain.
Take it easy on the kool-aid.

Well since Obama's parents are both black and white i guess he could have went either way, the country is getting its first mixed race President. Is this not correct?

It would be more accurate to call this THE MILLION MORON MARCH

Election results aside, I got a chill looking at the pictures of Grant Park. After the violence of 40 years ago to see the crowds gathered in hope and in peace was wonderful.
