CANTON, Ohio -- While the top-of-the-ticket candidates crisscrossed the country Sunday, the VP picks stayed put in one state: Gov. Sarah Palin here in Ohio and Sen. Joe Biden in Florida.
Palin campaigned from small-town Appalachia to suburban Cincinnati in Ohio, where polls have showed McCain-Palin trailing since October 1. And just as she stayed in one state, Palin also stayed largely on one topic: the economy, talking taxes and repeating McCain's promise to balance the federal budget during a first term.
"As this time for choosing draws so near, the choice could not be clearer," Palin said in Canton, a struggling city where one in four families now live below the poverty level.
Palin also promised that she and McCain, if elected, would commit to small businesses, national defense and a spending freeze.
"We're going to spread the opportunity so you and Joe the Plumber can create new wealth," she added, alluding to Obama's "spread the wealth" comment last month to Samuel "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher..
Palin not only alluded to Obama, but criticized him directly, saying his proposals would lead to "more, bigger government" and would destroy millions of American jobs.
"His whole tax plan, it's so phony," she said to cheers.
Although behind in Ohio, if you believe polls, Palin voiced confident about Tuesday's outcome.
"There is so much work to do," she said. "We can't wait to get to work for you."

Maybe she can pass along a few of her designer dresses...that's just what they need.

i think a more accurate headline would be: Governor Palin undermines Senator McCain's chances in Ohio ands Pennsylvania ! With Governor Palin's hidden agenda, of creationsim, censorship and abuse of power charges, I am surprised the Bush-McCain Republicans haven't side-lined her !! I guess that goes to show you, it didn't matter who the woman was, they wanted to garner and pander to the disappointed Senator Clinton's voters !! Governor Palin, a Senator Hilliary Clinton, you aren't !! Don't forget, America, if the McCain-Palin ticket, to Nowhere gets in, all of America can say good-bye to our right to privacy and hello to some form of State religion !!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE AND WHOLE. NOW.

Yeah right, don't pay any attention to the polls, are the pundits, or the biased media, or the crowds, or the enthusiasm, or eventually even the voters. Live in denial but you can't escape the fact...
AMERICANS are in the tank for Obama. Thank goodness!

Who dressed her?
Oh yeah, I forgot.
Well, they should have left instructions with the loot--the gray jacket and the brown skirt doesn't work.

Hey, Alec, don't look now (why, with your hand deep in the denial sand), but Tuesday is going to be a blow out of epic proportions. The Bimbo and McFail won't scrape up even 150 EV's Obama to near 400. Watch this, not the lunatic fringe's anti-Obama rants.

Please let her go home soon...

Alec,
Insteresting that non of the web addresses that you have listed supposedly "exposing" Mr. Obama are valid. Just more republican lies. The people of this good country are done with the lies.

Cheryl Said: "Well, they should have left instructions with the loot--the gray jacket and the brown skirt doesn't work."
Look Cheryl, Palin can make even that outfit look good. It is *Ohio*, by the way--everything goes with brown there. That said, I'd spend the rest of this post bashing Palin's politics, but I'd rather wait until Tuesday night.

Governor Palin's sharp analytical mind at work:
"His [Obama's] whole tax plan, it's so phony."
In light of her recent comments on the First Amendment and the Vice President's role in the Senate, Ms. Palin apparently thinks that the U.S. Constitution is phony, too.

Governor, President Yakov Smirnoff from Madeupastan is on line 1.
"Oh sir, thank you so much for taking the time to call me, John McCain and I are just so happy we're allies"

Remember that Palin fired the Governor's chef and sold the jet when she took office. This woman does not waste money. How can anyone justify Obama's Greek columns which cost @ $4 million? Talk about waste. If that is how he spends his money, I don't want him near my taxes. He showed his lack of character when he promised to take public funds and then changed his mind. Plus, the questions about some of his donations have not been answered. Mickey Mouse can buy a credit card and then donate funds to Obama's campaign. This is change? No, it is just regular Obama - Chicago political hacking. Wright was right - Obama is a politician and will do what he needs to be elected, Regardless.

Linda mae.....She did not fire the chef...she transfered her to the republican legislature. She sold the plane at a loss, then charged taxpayers to fly her and the family all over the place. The biggest joke of all is that you think styrofoam columns cost 4 million.
