John Podesta, the bookish co-chairman of President-elect Barack Obama's transition planning, was casting about today for a title for Rahm Emanuel, the hard-charging Chicago congressman whom Obama has designated as his chief of staff.
Chief of staff-designate? Podesta asked at a transition press-briefing today?
What shall we call him? And the audience offered a name.
"Rahmbo,'' concurred Podesta, with a laugh.
