Here are a few Washington events of note for Monday, November 3.
It is the day before the presidential election and both Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain are making their last pitches to any remaining undecided voters.
The Supreme Court is hearing three cases. One of them examines whether the prescription drug labeling judgments imposed on manufacturers by the Food and Drug Administration preempt state law product liability claims premised on the theory that different labeling judgments were necessary to make drugs reasonably safe for consumers' use.
The Wilson Center for Scholars is premiering a social documentary, "Beyond the Wall: Homeless Zone," which explores factors leading to homelessness among veterans.
