CHICAGO--Your correspondent is here, awaiting the results of today's presidential election.
Having lunch at a downtown Asian restaurant, I decided to see if the message inside the fortune cookie I received at the close of the meal offered any clue about the outcome tonight.
It read:
YOU WILL PASS A DIFFICULT TEST.
Make of that what you will.
