Oprah Winfrey will be hosting the TV show that goes by her name from Washington, D.C., during the week of President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration.
Access Hollywood has the scoop on Oprah's traveling inaugural TV show.
"I'm going to break that right here -- that's where I'm going to be," Winfrey told Access Hollywood. "See you there . . . that's the place to be."
The queen of daytime TV has reached out to the Opera House at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts for a stage for The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Winfrey, one of Obama's best-known backers, campaigned for him early in his race for the Democratic presidential nomination, and cried for him on a stranger's shoulder at his acceptance speech in Chicago on Election Night.
"There are not even words to talk about what this night means," Winfrey told Access' Maria Menounos on Election Night. "Everybody keeps using the word historic - there's never been a night like this on the planet Earth...nothing can compare to this."

Guess the Declaration of Independence, Man on the Moon, Pearl Harbor and 9/11 aren't important anymore. In the opinion of Oprah, all these pale in comparison to the election of a politician.

I would be utterly lost without Oprah. Without her I wouldn't know what to read, what to eat, what to think or who to vote for.

I think I foresee Oprah losing some of her popularity soon..She is one person with most times good ideas but the public masses are starting to be able to view life and make decisions on their own again without the help or blessing from Oprah..The sheep are tired of being led...

Truth be told, Obama's earliest supporters were in good ole Hyde Park
Oprah got on the bandwagon after the parade had been going a while.
