The brother of the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at President Bush says his brother would assault the president again if he had the chance. Fortunately, he's not likely to get another opportunity.
Uday al-Zeidi made the claim in an interview. We sure hope for the sake of jailed journalist Muntada al-Zeidi that this isn't a case of sibling-rivalry induced sabotage and that what the shoe-throwing brother is actually saying is accurately reflected by his interview-giving brother since these incendiary statements are only likely to cause more trouble for the world's most famous, shoe-hurling journalist.

"His brother would assault the President again, if he had the chance."
Statements like these--kinda make ya wish Saddam was still around to take care of the "shoe throwers" next chance.

If those shoes had connected with Bush's head all we would have heard is a hollow sounding thud, there's nothing in there.

The shoe thrower should be given saint hood. He did to Bush what 99% of the world would have liked to have done to Bush.

" kinda make ya wish Saddam was still around"
He's still around, or the mentality he believed in, is still in full operation. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed, maimed or displaced in the name of democracy. How's that for delusional ?
60 Trillion Dollar scam, on Wall Street and Bush-Cheney are riding off into the sunset, as heroes !! What a great nation we live in and must suffer. Can anyone be more delusional ? Only in America !!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE AND WHOLE. NOW.

Muntada al-Zeidi is an idiot. His two knucklehead brothers got themselves wasted when they joined the Sadr Army and tried to go up against U.S. and Iraqi troops. All "Shoeless" al-Zeidi could do was throw his new pumps at our president. It was insulting by Middle Eastern standards, but kind of girlie by Western standards. Maybe somebody ought to ask Shoeless how many Iraqis were killed or displaced due to Sadr Army action, or al-Qaeda action. Let's see if he can answer those questions without sticking his boot in his mouth.
