Wow. That sounds nasty. I'd say MJ's a hateful jerk. Except that MJ (I) didn't write that. And it's completely inconsistent with the tenor of any of my actual posts. Pranks using somebody else's post name are fairly common in the Swamp.

Which leads to the subject of the controls in place to monitor the comments. In case you still haven't heard the complaints, Silva, James et al... THEY'RE NOT WORKING! The censorship is blocking half of the honest thoughtful comments, but the malicious small minded pranks still get through. The crackpots can still consider this blog to be their own flaming poop bag.

It's been said many times already: The only way to go is instantaneous posting with an obscenities filter and a "report Abuse" button. Any blogger with an excessive number of abuse hits can be filtered out. Let the adult readers take care of the juvenile crackpots, since you can't.
