I never thought I'd live to see the day that Obama would be elbowed out of The Swamp. (Remember him?) For that, at least, I thank Rod Blagojevich.
.
A few posters have speculated that this might be Obama's Watergate (Blagogate).
.
That's very unlikely, IMO, for a number of reasons. For one thing, Obama isn't stupid. As soon as he got serious about a presidential run he put as much distance as possible between himself and Blago (who was already under scrutiny).
.
However, this could mean a shortened Honeymoon.

Today's news story ObamaNews will ignore: the website of HopeNChange's Transition Team is censoring questions relating to HopeNChange's relationship to Governor Blagojevich. See www.politico.com for more.
Tranparent government? They won't even allow a transparent website!

More news stories ObamaNews won't run:
The Deputy Governor of Illinois, Bob Greenlee, resigned yesterday. The Blagojevich tapes have an unnamed "Deputy Governor of Illinois" involved bigtime in BlagoGate.
Reporters ought to be able to make the connection here.

Regarding: is this Obama's Blagogate?
.
I frankly don't understand some folks' wishful thinking. Why would anybody actually want ANY US President to fail? That's unhealthy and unpatriotic, to put it mildly.
.
And I understand the entertainment value of politics, to be sure. However, somes people look at this soley as a sort of football game -- "Hooray for my team, YOUR team sucks". They don't help anybody in the end. They're the ones who invariably prop up the demagogues.
