L'affaire Blago oozes with irony. He ran as a reformer, and videos are resurfacing with him speechifying about promising his mom (and in honor of his late dad) to always be honest and never take bribes and to reform Bad Ol' Illinois.

Here's a new one I just found. The root of his name ("blago-") roughly translates in Slavic languages as "the universal ideal of goodness" or "God's grace"

Another story Obama's Swamp buddies are working overtime NOT to report:
"This morning, the Chicago Fox affiliate reports that after the FBI wiretaps were placed on Blagojevich’s phone and after Rahm Emanuel had been selected as Obama’s Chief of Staff, Emanuel and Blago had in fact discussed the Senate seat and that those conversations were on tape.
This story sure makes The Messiah look bad had running next to this story about Obama’s denying that his staff had any such conversations."
