Now, Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, is offering no help on those stories about President Barack Obama considering Sen. Judd Gregg, Republican from New Hampshire, for Commerce secretary.
But the two work together well, Gibbs allowed today.
"I'm not going to get into the name game, or the final four picks for this job or that,'' Gibbs said at the West Wing press podium today. "The last time I talked to (the president) this morning, a final decision had not been made.''
Obama and Gregg (pictured here in an AP photo by Lauren Victoria Burke) have spoken often lately and work together well, said Gibbs, unsure about the question of whether the two have met on a basketball court.
"Sen. Gregg looks like he may have an inside game,'' Gibbs allowed.
"He's obvisously somebody who the president has talked to recently about the economic crisis,'' Gibbs said. The two spoke before the president's swearing in about economic stability, he said, and "the president shares his concern about the growing federal budget deficit...
Calling Gregg " somebody the president likes to talk to on a host of economic matters,'' he said yes, the president likes those talks.
That's not what we'd call a denial.

I think the choice of Gregg could be brilliant. But I am very upset by Barack's BOMBING OF CIVILIANS ON DAY FOUR.
He needs to start acting more like the peace candidate he said he was when he was flipping off Hillary and calling her racist to the Black community.
NO BOMBING WITH DRONES.
