Republican supports Obama's stimulus

What a bunch of clueless lemmings the Limbaugh House Republicans are. People overwhelmingly trust and support the President, they want his plan to succeed, they watched Obama travel to Capitol Hill to listen to the Limbaugh House Republican concerns, saw that he had provisions removed that they objected to, and the Limbaugh House Republicans respond by having all 177 members vote against the bill. And then "the Limbaugh team" spread out ... to right wing hate radio, to the Heritage Foundation, and no doubt littering the landscape at Faux News, to pat themselves on the back for a job well done.

What will the Limbaugh House Republicans do for an encore? Gather on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to sing "Barack the Magic Negro"?

Obviously these Limbaugh House Republican idiots have no idea why their membership has shrank to such a small minority because they continue to do the same crap that made them a small minority in the first place.

Hey Joe, the Dems have votes to pass the stimulus so what is the problem. There isn't one GOP vote that is needed to pass that stimulus and the Dems know it. Did you count those Blue Dog Democrats that also gave it the thumbs down.

The Republicans need a leader to continue their pursuit to reduce taxes until there is no government. The United States is in a recession. A strong, arrogant, self centered leader, like Rush Limball is needed to enhance the recession, and upgrade it to a full Republican-Bush Depression.

One thing that has become clear and is fascinating: every Republican representative is afraid of what Limbaugh and Faux News will say about them. It must really suck to have to be kissing a meglomaniac, millionaire gasbag's @ss vs. helping your needy and jobless constituents.

The cowardly thieves called Republicans have spent every year since 1980 in one way or another robbing from the middle class and poor to give to the rich, when they weren't bombing the crap out of some Third World country. And now, when their economic house of cards collapses, they dig in their heals, do nothing, and claim they are defending us, all the while continuing to blame the working man and the working poor, who are one and the same these days.

Republican = ignorant and inflexable. Just look at what their "no new taxes" roadblock is doing to California. This is truly a party that is bankrupt of ideals and ideas.

The Republicans controlled the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate from 2001 through 2006, so they had the votes to pass legislation to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - so why couldn't they do it?

Even today you'll hear Republicans whine that the Democrats prevented them from accomplishing this and that the housing crisis and Wall Street meltdown is their fault.

It didn't take long for Crist to turn his palms up. Ditto for the GOP congressional delegation.

As House Republican leader John Boehner said, "We had bi-partisan opposition to this partisan bill." the proponents were so ashamed of it they tried to rush it through before anyone could have a chance to read it.

But leave it to the Democratic National Committee (excuse me, the Swamp) to ignore 170 Republican Congressmen unanimously against. And the 11 Democrats who voted NO. Instead to find one Republican who (doubtless because he isn't familiar with the Porkulus Bill) is willing to say some nice things about it.

Bruce....You had all the republicans telling us what a great idea Iraq was.....mass hysteria is what the republicans are good at. Not independent thinking.

I want the stimulus plan to pass, because it will increase our chances for a complete collapse in the world economy.

As it stands now without it, the odds are that we will still go into bankruptcy, but the stimuls package will make certain we do.

Come to grips with it, you people. This multicultural cesspool is a failure and needs to be built over.

Grow a survival garden; form militias in your area as we did in the mid nineties, and get ready for the fighting that is certain to come.

I keep hearing the so often repeated lie that some how the republican politicians were robbing the poor and down trodden to give to the rich. Yet I can't get any logical answer that makes any sense of exactly how this is done. Do the taxes that flow in get diverted to the rich? Does Ted kennedy go down to the treasury and get a suitcase full of money? How is this miracle accomplished? Of course we have to forget the liar Bill Clinton's bombing of Serbia into the stone age or his blowing up the aspirin factory and killing the night cleaning crew for the other bit of drivel. Or was slick Willie a secret republican that no one knew about?

It is very inportant that no republican vote for this pork bill as if they do then when it fails the blame goes to the conservative party.

Since the left's embrace of moral relativism and situational ethics they have become unable to use logic. Hence the steal from the poor give to the rich line. If the rich are so evil then why do the democrats keep electing them?

Charlie Crist is the worst form of RINO.

This is nothing more than a sellout while Crist begs "Dear Leader" for a national catastrophe fund before another major hurricane bankrupts Florida's state run insurance program.

We need bi-partisen support to get through this. I don't care if they are Republicans or Democrats. We all have some good ideas. We have gone way beyond the pale here in gloating and trying to eliminate the opposition. The election is over and Obama won but millions of Americans are very deeply distrustful of what they perceive to be his radical leanings and an agenda that forments the distruction of our American ideals. The current stimulus package, as currently structured, is obscene and confirms their suspicions. We need you to provide rationality here. GET RID OF THE PORK and for heavens sake provide accountability or chunks of it will wind up in the personal bank accounts of some of those crooks that are on capital hill. It's starting to look like amateur hour the way we appoint people who can't, or won't pay their taxes, and wind up head of the Treasury. The "stimulus" is an embarrassment and looks real bad considering no republicans signed on. They are starting to look like the only guys with principles up there.

2. Leave talk radio alone. It makes Dems look like incipient fascists who want to silence all opposition. We need to keep the American Way of fairness and Freedom of Speech. Ultimately, the best ideas will win. We need to let that process happen. The Pelosi's of the world make people too paranoid about America's future.

3. If I may suggest this, keep a long term view of America and the promise of its Founders, the principles upon which America is based, and what has made our country great. As it is now, the government appears to be confiscating money from people who worked for it and "redistributing" to special groups of people who didn't. I'm no Doctor and there are plenty of people richer than I, but I'll pay my own taxes thank you. I don't need Obama to try to bribe me by robbing from other people. The time could come when Obama is no longer welcome and we will need people of good will and rationality to bring the country together again.

The problem is, no matter what, one side or the other is going to throw a hissy fit because they didn't get something added or taken out of the stimulus bill. Instead of throwing a hissy fit howabout doing SOMETHING as opposed to NOTHING.
