Good morning,
Today, the 44th president of the United States, Barack Obama, will take the oath of office in front of the U.S. Capitol before an audience that started streaming onto the National Mall before the sun rose here in the Swamp. It proves to be a crowded celebration.
The official swearing in with Chief Justice John Roberts presiding comes at noon, followed by a luncheon in the Capitol for Obama and then a parade along Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House this afternoon.

Today's news story the DNC Swamp won't report: the Church of Gore is losing members. The Rasmussen Poll (see http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/issues2/articles/44_say_global_warming_due_to_planetary_trends_not_people) shows that for the first time, the majority of Americans don't believe that human activity is causing so-called "global warming."
Despite the media blackout, it seems the American people have learned the "Inconvenient Truth" about the Gore-baloney.

It's definitely a historic day. I am a bit afraid that the change so many think is coming will prove very disappointing to them once the honeymoon is over because the economy is is in some serious trouble and I don't think this man and his administration have the ability to change it. But I am proud to be an American because of the political process we have.
