How many Lincoln pennies will it take to pay for the handwritten Lincoln manuscript that has gone at auction in New York today?
344,000,000 pennies.
The text of a speech that Lincoln gave in 1864 after his reelection has fetched $3.44 million, according to Christie's - an auction record for any American historical document - sold to the anonymous bidder on the telephone.
The previous record of $3.4 million was set last year.
Another Lincoln document.
