But, yes, it is midafternoon again here in the Swamp, and, in the interest of saving you from that perilous afternoon sinking spell, we thought we'd check in with the world's most-pierced woman.
Elaine Davidson, born in Brazil, lives in Edinburgh, Scotland. She first made the Guinness World Record book in 2000 with 462 body-piercings:192 in her face.
She is attempting to prevent any competition for the honor: She now claims 6,005 body-piercings, including 500 which she calls "internal."
OK, now go back to work.

You know, there IS real news to report. Obama PERSONALLY requested an earmark today in the omnibus spending bill and that's yet another campaign promise broken since he vowed to ban earmarks months ago. Not that you'd ever report anything about Obama's broken promises, though.

Jeff, By most defintions, earmarks are only made my members of Congresss, so maybe you would be more specific on that.
