The idea of President Barack Obama and FOX News commentator Sean Hannity sharing a beer is gaining a head of steam, at least in the imagination of FOX News.
"With respect to Sean Hannity, I didn't know that he had invited me for a beer,'' Obama told a woman who brought up the subject at a "town-hall'' meeting in Elkhart, Ind., on Monday, "but you know, I will take that under advisement.''
Would Obama's advisers advise it, senior adviser Robert Gibbs was asked on FOX and Friends this morning.
""We should definitely do this in a public place, because nobody will believe it actually happened if we just did it here,'' said Gibbs, the White House press secretary. "I told the president that the last time I was on with Sean, we had a disagreement with one of his guests, but I'd be happy to bring the six-pack.''
Hannity's in, FOX says, and he's buying.
"Wow,'' said Gibbs, asked what the president's favorite brew is -- planted, in the question, was the expectation of a domestic answer.
"Give him a six-pack of Budweiser,'' Gibbs said, "and we'll meet him anywhere he wants to go.''

Wouldn't give Vannity the time of day. As much as the republicans would like to or already have forgotten that Vannity was a main cheerleader for the republicans and the Bush administration which has brought us to this mess. He has been willing to distort all facts to advance his political cause. Sean Vannity opens his show with angels singing and bombs bursting in air proclaiming himself a "great" American as he sets forth to lie and twist facts for his own personal agenda. He and his twin bloated brother Rush would be happy to rid the country of liberals.......that would be Americans gang....their Jihad on other Americans deserve no recognition at all.

Of course, Budweiser is owned by a Belgian company now.
And I can name a dozen Belgian beers that are better than Budweiser.

What are we to make of Obama's radical associations since becoming president? First he met with Republican congressmen in the White House! Then he invited some Republicans to his Superbowl party and now he's making plans to swill beer with Sean Hannity. These radical associations are very troubling, indeed!

Dave B's got that right; no American beer can come close to the Belgian...... perhaps we could get some lessons.

Well, you can brew your own beer ( in most states).
It's a fun hobby.
Anyway, I wouldn't give Hanny the privilege of any face time.
Perhaps, however, a re match with Gibbs, who cleaned his clock on their last one on one.
The problem with the charm offensive on Replicans on camera is that it obscures the fact that they really have murder in their hearts and are lying in wait.
Public needs to be reminded of this unfortunate fact from time to time.
